Jiri Kobelka
Jiri is the CEO and co-founder of Tatum, the fastest open-source blockchain infrastructure platform and SDK for developers. He is a blockchain enthusiast and passionate about making enterprise blockchain development easy. Jiri founded Tatum with a mission to enable anyone to seamlessly build blockchain apps (dApps) in a matter of hours with the same ease they use other conventional technologies. Kobelka has more than 15 years of experience in the finance industry and has an intimate understanding of the biggest obstacles enterprises face when it comes to blockchain adoption and integration.
Prior to founding Tatum, Jiri built up nearly two decades of experience in software development and project management in the financial sector. Most recently he was the Head of software development Cleverlance, a multinational IT services and consulting firm, where he was responsible for overseeing large and complex software development projects. Prior to that Jiri held a wide range of positions overseeing IT projects, from integrating Avast to Salesforce to data migration infrastructure for leading European banks.
Jiri is also an advisor for FinTech4Good where he helps co-create FinTech and Blockchain solutions that contribute to the achievement of sustainable development goals. In his role at FinTech4Good, he helps young innovators connect with a global network in North America, Asia, Europe, Africa and Latin America, and enables them to get opportunities through FinTech4Good’s accelerator program.
Jiri holds an MBA from City University of Seattle, a master's in business and finance from Nottingham Trent University, a second master's in European business and finance from Brno University of Technology, and a BA in IT Management also from Brno University of Technology.
