Dr. El Adl is a global leader in digital technologies innovation, artificial intelligence, and cognitive
systems. Over the last 20+ years, Dr. El Adl held different senior leadership positions with global
software vendors and top 5 global consulting companies in Germany and the USA.
In 2016 and in collaboration with MIT, he coined and published the concepts of “Cognitive Digital Twin -
CDT”, “Cognitive Digital Thread” and “Cognitive Digital Swarm” expanding the original concept of Digital
Twin. He continues to further develop those concepts to maximize the values to Humanity.
Currently, he is advising the US federal government in leveraging the concepts of CDT in different areas
such as mission planning & execution, equipment lifecycle management, and Human performance
optimization. Additionally, he is a board member and Chief Digital Twining Officer for multiple startups
in focusing on using AI/ML, IoT and Cognitive Digital Twin to drive innovation in different areas such as
Healthcare, Drug & Diseases research, Electric Vehicle, Smart Cities, smart public Infrastructure, and
Smart Manufacturing.
Mr. El Adl has Ph.D. in Computer Science (AI/Computer Vision) from the Technical University of
Budapest and Post Doc. research in intelligent mobile Robotics (University of Ulm, Germany).
